Dear Reader,

You may not be aware that the front and rear cover design of the Merseyside CTC Newsletter comes from the pen of one of our members. It is the work of Hazel Blundell who lives in the south Wirral part of our previously known District Association. With changes that are taking place through the CTC policy document we will be known as Merseyside CTC. This does not change our catchment area that includes north and south Wirral up to Ledsham, Merseyside including St Helens, also Warrington, and Ormskirk in the north.

Our rides in these areas are varied and Hazel draws a location that is taken from the next rides list that is produced. Her initials DHB are cleverly disguised somewhere in the drawing. Her artistic skills are fully appreciated by our committee. Also her husband Noel has served the D.A. for many years as Treasurer and this year will stand down at the AGM. We thank Noel for all his work as we now look for his replacement.

It is also at this point worth mentioning another stalwart member, a rides leader of over 50 years experience, George Lewis of Wirral. He never tires with his enthusiasm for making sure we still find the hidden gems of villages far and wide from home. We have a remarkable wealth of experience of members in our area.
