18 July 2007. The Midweek Section, Beeston Brook, Cheshire.

Welcome.

Established in 1895 we are "Merseyside Cyclists` Touring Club" a member group of "The Cyclists` Touring Club" based in Britain.

We have weekly rides to North Wales, Cheshire, Lancashire and Shropshire starting from either Liverpool or Wirral every Sunday and on some Saturdays. Our rides consist of various mileages using mainly country lanes to interesting destinations.

During Easter we have a cycle tour either in The U.K. or abroad, during Summer we organise cycle camping weekends and every November we rent a Youth Hostel for a weekend for our sole use.

We also organise the highly popular "Wild Wales Challenge" event which attracts over 500 riders from all over Britain and the world.

Our D.A. also incorporates The St. Helens & District section which have separate rides.

Beginners of all ability are welcome to join us on any rides, although C.T.C. membership will be to your advantage. Being a touring club, we ride at a moderate pace and will help or wait if you get a puncture!!
